Chronic pain solution two - Exercise
I have a real passion for ballet and it is a very good form of exercise for chronic pain relief in my opinion as it helps to stretch the muscles and to relax the mind along with aiding my mental health. I also try to set aside to go for a walk as the fresh air has a really calming influence on me and helps me to sleep at night.
Chronic pain solution three - Spending time with my partner
When I spend time with my partner I always feel more relaxed and good about myself which helps to bring my chronic pain down. We tend to go for meals out, to the cinema or just to relax at home. Knowing that I have someone in my life who loves and cares about me has made my chronic pain more manageable.

Chronic pain solution four - Spending time with my family
Spending time with my family always helps to ease my chronic pain as I enjoy their company. On a weekly basis I spend time at my uncle's house with my dad and we sometimes go through family stories together and enjoy a lovely meal. I always feel better after spending time with family. I also visit my aunt's house on a regular basis to stay over and having the chance to talk things over with her about how I am feeling makes me feel more calm.

Chronic pain solution five - Reading
I have a passion for reading non-fiction books particularly books on the subject of real crime and delving into a book helps me to take my mind off my chronic pain even if only for half an hour.

Chronic pain solution six - Visiting my favourite coffee shop
At least once a week I will try to visit my favourite coffee shop. This is a very relaxing place to sit and I can watch the world go by. For me personally the coffee shop is a very therapeutic place for me to be and aids in taking my thoughts away from my chronic pain for some time.
